Biweekly Happy Hours

Last updated 4 months ago

Hey there, thanks for hosting happy hour! Here’s a quick 1 pager for you.

What’s the time for?

This is our time as a team to come together, relax, and get to know each other better!

How do I host?

  • Make yourself known on the Slack reminder thread in #general

  • Have a think about what game or activity you want to run

Things to remember

  • Beth is here to help!

  • As we scale, we’ll need to break into smaller groups so that more conversations can happen (you can use the Google Meet rooms for this)

  • If you have an activity in mind that costs money, let us know, and we’ll try to make it work!

It’s normal to feel nervous

Well done you for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone - big remote calls are daunting for everyone. The team really appreciates you putting time into this team time together - they’d be grateful for anything that’s not Beth talking about Geo Guesser every week 😂

Ideas for activities (please add more!)

We could do a big group activity and then break into smaller groups to chat!

  • Jackbox has a 1-16 player and a 1-100 player game

  • Random 1:1’s - splitting everyone in pairs for part of the session

  • AMAs (Ask Me Anything) with each person
