Timeframes for requesting holiday
Holidays 1 week or longer need to be requested with at least 3 weeks notice.
Holidays of a day or two should be requested at least 3 days in advance unless itβs an emergency/unforeseen circumstance.
Holidays for longer than a total of 3 days should not be taken during probation unless pre-approved prior to joining.
Exemptions will be at the discretion of your manager.
When to use your vacation days
We work flexibly at Vital meaning we work remotely and employees can adjust their start and end times, as long as you complete your required tasks or hours. We work across GMT and EDT timezones so expect at least 3 hours crossover with your day.
If you're going to be out of action for a chunk of the day - please consider booking off half a day vs trying to fit in those hours out of your usual hours.
